Happiness

One day you’ll realise that happiness
As a whole, is never about your job,
Your degree, relationships or anything this temporal world had to offer

Happiness is self-discovery in Jesus
Living in hope that your Father in heaven
Has life sorted for you
And all you need to do is be still and trust His timing.

Happiness is listening to His still small voice in your mind
to guide you through your daily routine
Happiness is being kind to yourself through His pruning process
And embracing the person you’re becoming.

Happiness is standing strong through the fire knowing
That His grace is what will carry you through.
Knowing that He’s standing right beside you.

Happiness is always about learning to live within the comfort of your Maker
And that happiness was never in the hands of other people.
It was always about you and the bond you share
With the One who beautifully put you together in your mother’s womb.
